I am native speaker of Russian, and a fluent English speaker. I have a background in Film Studies and Computer Science. I have more than 5 years of language teaching experience, and I am an avid language learner myself.

I plan the lessons so that they fit your needs. My first question is going to be what are your objectives, time resources, and based on this we will find the plan that will fit you the best.
I also make sure that you not only learn, but enjoy the experience. Relaxed and enjoyable learning is what makes studying most effective.
In my classes, I will give you:
- an understanding of sentence construction in the Russian language;
- a thorough understanding of Russian grammar logics;
- a vocabulary that you will need in everyday life in Russia and Russian speaking countries;
- word formation strategies;
- an acquaintance with Russian culture (literature, history of Russian arts and cinema).

I started learning Russian with Irina around 6 months ago now. She is an excellent teacher; flexible, accommodating, and adaptive to a learning style that suits me. Irina has been my Russian language tutor for a couple of years now and I wouldn’t choose another. She is a very dedicated, kind and compassionate tutor who makes lessons both fun and interesting.
