About Virginia
Hello! My name is Virginia and I am a Spanish university student currently studying at University College London (UCL). I am originally from Madrid (Spain), where I lived until three years ago when I moved to London to attend university.
Since the age of 16 I have worked at different tuition centres, teaching students a whole range of subjects including Spanish, French and English. I have worked both one-to-one and with small groups of students, always making sure to target each student's individual areas of improvement. I have helped students progress from failing grades to comfortably passing their exams. I have also helped students to prepare for official language exams.
As regards to the subjects I teach, Spanish is my mother tongue and after extensively studying the grammar and literature of the language at school I am confident I can bring you a little bit closer to speaking and writing like a native.
As for French, I have also extensively studied the language for 8 years now. I have completed language exchanges in France, passed the B2-DELF official French language exam and I am currently continuing my studies in French at university.

I tailor my lessons according to the student’s needs, whether that means learning the language for fun, academic purposes or to obtain an official qualification. My goal is to help my students achieve their goals whilst engaging with the language and the culture of the native countries.
Languages are my passion and they are an incredibly useful skill to have. I would love to share this passion with you and bring you a little bit closer to speaking like a native.
