About Erick
Since high school, I have helped tutor multiple individuals to increase their proficiency in Spanish and learn how to read, write, and speak confidently. Throughout my years from elementary to high school, I took rigorous Spanish courses every year from Elementary Spanish to AP Spanish Literature and Culture where I scored a 5 on the AP test.

My teaching methods include practicing pronunciation, reading, and writing as well as creating associations between both languages through their similarities. Each lesson will consist of an hour. Our first lesson will be to read, write, and pronounce the alphabet, basic articles and nouns and use them in simple three to five word conversational sentences. Additionally we will cover singular and plural forms of Spanish nouns and their "gender" which can vary depending on the noun. The next lesson will be to introduce verbs, adjectives, and adverbs in Spanish and understand key differences between both languages. We will also learn and discuss sentences with these concepts. The third lesson will include conjunctions and grammatical signals like the comma, period, exclamation point, question mark, semicolon, accent, tilde, and ellipses in Spanish. As someone who went to a bilingual school for 13 years and mastered English as their second language, I can communicate clearly with students and avoid any confusion. These lessons are offered for beginner to intermediate level Spanish speaking individuals. I also offer peer reviewing of Spanish assignments, documents, and translation.
