About Beatriz
I was born and raised in Santander in Spain. I have a half-English mother, meaning my English is also perfect. My multilingual background means that I can help you understand Spanish as an English/French speaker. How to define words that don’t have a direct translation, and nuances in a language. My first job was working as a Spanish and English tutor whilst living in France. I studied Law in London and now work here managing commercial operation in Latin America for a financial company, where I have also picked up Portuguese.

Hola! I am a practical teacher focused on results. Let me know what it is you want to achieve and within what time frame, and I will design a plan for us to get you there. What I offer is a personalised plan with a goal in sight - enabling you to deliver results: Do you have to pass your end of school test? A C1 certificate? Do you need to be up to speed with conversational Spanish by X date to meet your fiancé’s parents? Do you just want help with a project/essay? I understand how to enable my students to learn a language quickly and maximise their own talents. I have experience teaching students from 13 to 50 years old, in person and online. Most notably in helping failing students pass with good grades. I’m also happy to have a more relaxed conversational class - we can pick a different topic each week to discuss.
