About Ainara
My name is Ainara and, although being raised in London, I grew up speaking Spanish both at home and at school. I received my education from the bilingual Spanish School in London, meaning I followed the Spanish curriculum and therefore have a native level in speaking and writing, as well as cultural and historical knowledge of Spain. I have taught foreign languages (English and Spanish) abroad in Italy for over a year and therefore have experience as a teacher.

I have experience teaching foreign languages to children aged 3-11, but since I am a Native Spanish speaker can easily adapt to personal needs.I can help with exam preparation by practicing grammar and spelling, helping and correcting exercises. I can also help with speaking and my approach to this is usually choosing a topic and provide some sources (articles, videos, interviews) about them so that we can discuss and have a conversation about them during the lesson. For this, I adapt to the student’s interests and needs. For example, if it is for exam preparation or to learn Spanish at a more professional level, we choose more “serious” topics covered by exam boards or the professional field. However, if the student is simply looking to practice Spanish at a conversational level, the topics can cover anything from pop culture, hobbies or areas the student is interested in.
