About Astrid
As a Spanish tutor, I am Astrid Odete Escobedo Barrondo, an accomplished Guatemalan attorney specializing in human rights and anti-corruption law. With over 22 years of professional experience, I have dedicated myself to advocating for justice and equality. My academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Advanced Studies of Human Rights from the University of Carlos III of Madrid, along with two Master’s Degrees in International Human Rights Law and Fundamental Rights from the same institution, as well as a Master’s in International Criminal Law from the University of Granada. My foundational legal education was acquired at the University of San Carlos of Guatemala, where I obtained my law degree.
