3. Active vocabulary building: Using tools like flashcards (Anki or Quizlet), thematic vocabulary lists, and storytelling to reinforce retention.
4. Cultural integration: Incorporating music, short videos, news articles, and real-life scenarios from Spanish-speaking countries to make the language come alive.
5. Error-friendly learning: Creating a safe, encouraging space where mistakes are viewed as essential steps in the learning process.
Lesson Plan Outline:
1. Warm-up (5–10 mins)
- Conversational Spanish (e.g., “How was your day?”)
- Quick review of vocabulary or grammar from the previous session.
2. Core Lesson (30–35 mins)
-Grammar focus (e.g., preterite vs. imperfect, ser vs. estar) with examples and exercises.
-Thematic vocabulary practice (e.g., travel, health, food).
- Cultural content, such as short readings or a clip from a Spanish-speaking country.
- Speaking and Listening Practice (10–15 mins)
