About Jean
¡Hola! I'm a native Spanish speaker with an engineering background, so I naturally love structure, you can expect organized lessons with a clear plan, not just free-flowing chat.
I also hold an MBA and currently work in a Canadian financial institution with subsidiaries across Latin America, so I get to use Spanish professionally every day, even after years of living in Canada.
Outside of work, I'm a bit of a bookworm in both Spanish and English, and I'm currently training for my second marathon.

My lessons are conversational and practical — we start by identifying your goals, whether that's everyday fluency, workplace Spanish, or sounding more natural when you speak.
A typical lesson mixes structured practice (grammar, vocabulary, phrasing) with real conversation and roleplay. I also dedicate time to phonetics and pronunciation, targeting the specific sounds that trip up non-native speakers, since accent is often what holds people back from feeling confident.
My lessons work well for adult learners at any level, from beginners building a foundation to advanced speakers polishing fluency or preparing for professional use of Spanish.
