About Laura
I’m a native Spanish speaker from Barcelona, Spain, with four years of teaching experience. I hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting and I am an accredited DELE examiner for levels B1–B2 and C1–C2.
Languages have always been an important part of my life. I speak Spanish, Catalan, English and German and can provide support in English or German when needed. Having lived in different countries, I have first-hand experience of both the challenges and rewards of learning a foreign language. I love travelling, discovering new cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds.
As a teacher, I am supportive, approachable and adaptable. I take my students’ goals seriously, but I also believe lessons should be engaging and enjoyable, so I like using a variety of activities and materials to keep them dynamic and motivating.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals and exam requirements. I specialise in GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and DELE Spanish exam preparation, helping students develop their speaking, writing, reading and listening skills as well as grammar, vocabulary and exam technique.
I follow a communicative, student-centred approach while maintaining a clear focus on exam requirements. As a native Spanish speaker, qualified Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher and accredited DELE examiner with four years of teaching experience, I provide structured and personalised support to help students build confidence and achieve their best possible results.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although the length can be adjusted by agreement depending on the student’s needs and schedule. I also offer a free 30-minute first session to discuss your current level, goals, exam board and areas for improvement and establish a personalised preparation plan.
