About Mar
Hola! My name is Maria, my native language is Spanish and I have lived most of my life in Alicante and Valencia. I studied English at degree level and have spent a number of years teaching English to Spanish students from age 3 upwards!
I have also spent plenty of time in the UK, studying in Bath, and am now living here in Cardiff and working in a Comprehensive school. As a result I am very familiar with the British education system.
I aim to make the lessons enjoyable whilst you learn which I believe is the best way! In addition, you will benefit from the cultural insight gained from my first hand experience of a life lived in Spain.
The first hour is always free as I will need to understand your level and your requirements before developing a bespoke teaching plan to help you achieve your goals.
