About Laura
I am a Qualified Teacher in England & Wales, native speaker of Spanish with a Master’s in Secondary and sixth form teaching, vocational training and language teaching (Valencia University, 2014). I also have a Degree Level 7 in History (Complutense University, 2008) and a Postgraduate Diploma Teaching Spanish Foreign Language (Alcala University, 2014). I have experience teaching Spanish to students of all ages and abilities, teaching in formal classrooms as well as tutoring 1:1 in different countries since 2012 (Spain, France, Bulgaria, Malta, and Israel/Palestine). Gracias Laura!! I'm currently studying for my A level Spanish and wanted to get some extra tutoring as I'm hoping to do Spanish at university. Learning with a native speaker has been great for my colloquial Spanish and has really boosted my conversational skills. Laura always greets you with a warm smile and is always happy to help with any stupid questions or homework I'm struggling with. My teachers have noticed the improvement in my written and spoken work already, after just a few sessions. I can't wait to keep improving and hopefully get an A*!!

Laura was an amazing Spanish teacher, so patient and calm, willing to go over tenses so many times with me when I just didn't understand. I felt so comfortable and calm learning with her, my accent, confidence and vocabulary have all definitely improved! Looking forward to going on holiday to Spain soon and trying out my new skills!
