About Jessica
In 2015 I started the teacher training course for Spanish teacher at the Hogeschool Utrecht. I have worked at various secondary schools (lower and upper years) in Amsterdam and Almere (VMBO, HAVO, VWO). In addition, I also taught a number of courses for medical students at university who wanted to complete their internship in Latin America.

Learning a language is fun and challenging if you actively participate. For my lessons I use teaching methods as well as self-designed material. I think it is important to set goals together with the student and map out what he or she wants to learn. I like to give a good basis and from there always give and discuss challenging assignments that suit the level of the student. Good communication therefore plays a major role in my lessons. Besides the teaching methods and my own material, I also like to use different apps / programs to give the learning a dynamic character, for example: quiz online to repeat vocabulary, memory game to practice the conjugation of verbs, etc. it is nice to offer the material in different ways so that the students repeat it often enough and also process it in different ways.
