About Maribel
My website is (concealed information) I have been teaching in-school and in-company for 18 years. I've worked for Oxford Institute, Wall Street Institute while teaching in Milan, Italy. I created the linguistic branch of my visa sponsor company. Most of my students are business professionals. My native language is American English. While teaching in-school, my classes were from 10 to 15 students. My business students are usually one-to-one or at most 3. My students have passed the TOEFL, TOEIC with my instruction. I have a 5-star rating among my students. My corporate students are able to move up from their current positions into higher levels. Depending on what my student needs, we practice mock conference calling, conflict resolution in the workplace and I use everything at my disposal; media, Ted Talks, written periodicals that reflect the current idioms and words used. Each student learns differently and my method is to identify this and do whatever it takes to target their learning process. Many of my students are interested in American culture and that is a large component of my lessons.

TEFL certified teacher of English as a Second or Other Language. My lesson plans are designed specifically for the student and their particular needs, native language. I've studied Compton Method and American Accent training. Both use speech pathology as a method to reduce accent and to make the American accent understandable.
