About Hanako
Hi! I’m Hana!
I’m a native English speaker from the US, currently living in Barcelona. I’ve always loved learning languages, travel, and meeting people from different cultures — and I’d love to help you feel more confident speaking English! ️
I have experience teaching English to children in Spain, as well as working with students of different ages and backgrounds including adult learners. I’m also studying Psychology, so I’m especially interested in how people learn and what makes learning feel easier, more natural, and (most importantly!) more fun
My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and adapted to YOU. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, prepare for school or work, travel more confidently, or just feel less nervous speaking English, we can work toward your goals together

I was a competitive university swimmer
I’m a yoga teacher
I love traveling and learning about different cultures, my mom is Japanese and my dad is Irish
I know that speaking a new language can feel intimidating, so there’s no pressure to be perfect in my lessons. Mistakes are part of learning!
