About Camille
I studied French Literature and translation at McGill university, in Canada. I currently live in Edinburgh and work as a pupil support assistant in a secondary school. I also tutor for French and English as a second language. I grew up learning English and Spanish from a young age and studied Spanish and German at university. I am also learning Portuguese and Italian by myself, which helps me to create lessons based on my own experience. I also started teaching swimming and triathlon when I was 15 years old. I have been working with people from all age (young kids and adults).

As a language lover myself, I know that learning a new language takes motivation. It is not only about learning words by heart and grammar rules, but also about discovering a new culture, way of thinking and much more. I started to be more efficient with my learning when I started focusing on the things that I find most interesting about the culture and the language, and by immersing myself as much as possible.
I like to create lessons that are based on the student's needs and interests including conversational practice, writing, reading and listening and I can adapt the lessons to all levels. I will give you tips, resources and material to study and also help you stay motivated through your learning process.
