About Yolanda
I am a Neuroscience final year student at the University of Manchester. I taught English as an extracurricular activity in a school in Spain and as a personal tutor in three different families for 3 years. I accumulated valuable experience and am now very confident in the teaching environment. All my students were very happy with the results and made valuable progress in English, which was reflected in their grades and results.

My teaching method is adapted to the student level, which I check in the first lesson to work on that basis. I am quite flexible and will listen to any requests and focus on weaknesses. I usually focus on one language skill (i.e. writing, speaking, reading and listening) per day and try to speak and interact with my students in Spanish throughout the whole session. Students usually find this very valuable; in the long term this improves their confidence as there is no better way to learn a language than using it!
