About Maria
I'm María Rodríguez Lorca, a Spanish and Philosophy teacher. I have just finished my studies in Philosophy and Modern Culture and my teaching qualification master. I have been doing private lessons of Spanish and humanistic subjects for five years and I always learn something new. I consider myself a very hard-working and creative person, with highly developed communication skills. I love sharing my culture and helping students to improve their knowledge of Spanish.

My teaching method is very immersive. I like to start speaking in Spanish since the first lesson so the student can get used to the language easily. During my lessons, I always try to work on all the skills at the same level: writing and oral comprehension, grammar, vocabulary and oral and written expression. Thus, the student can get a comprehensive overview of the language so he can use it in every kind of situation. On the other hand, I like to use innovative teaching techniques like: debates, games, interesting facts of Spanish culture...
