About Phương Thảo
Hello, I’m Phương Thảo, a native Vietnamese teacher based in Vietnam and I offer online Vietnamese lessons for students worldwide. I have a background in Linguistics and Portuguese Studies and I graduated as the top student of my major at Hanoi University in 2025.
With more than 2 years of experience teaching Vietnamese and over 1,500 lessons delivered, I have helped learners from different backgrounds improve their Vietnamese skills and become more confident in communication.
As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges that foreign students face when learning Vietnamese, especially pronunciation, tones, grammar, and cultural differences. My academic background in languages helps me explain Vietnamese in a clear and structured way, while my teaching experience allows me to adapt lessons to each student's needs.
I believe that learning Vietnamese is not only about studying vocabulary and grammar, but also about discovering Vietnamese culture and communication styles. I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students can learn naturally and enjoy the process.

Hello! I am Phương Thảo, a native Vietnamese teacher who loves sharing my language and culture with international learners.
My teaching approach focuses on practical communication, helping students use Vietnamese naturally in real-life situations. I combine vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, conversation practice, and cultural explanations to make lessons easier to understand and more engaging.
A typical lesson starts with a short review of previous knowledge, followed by new vocabulary and expressions based on the student's goals. We then practice through dialogues, speaking activities, pronunciation exercises, and real-life scenarios. I also provide explanations about Vietnamese culture, daily life, and the differences between Vietnamese and other languages to help students understand the language more deeply.
