About Ruby
I am a very passionate scientist, who loves Biology but understands that the exams and subject in school can be very challenging but I think that with some help, it can be very rewarding.
I try my best to find teaching styles that work well for an individual's needs because everyone learns differently and this needs to be taken into consideration. I welcome feedback on the styles of teaching that work well and that don't work for each student and plan my lessons around this information and which topics the student wants to cover.
At university, I study Natural Sciences, for me, this includes Physiology of animals, plants, and microbes, Evolution, Behaviour, and Genetics, Mathematical Biology and Earth Sciences.

Online lessons using a range of different methods, finding what works for best for each individual student. Mixes of past exam paper question practice, teaching unfamiliar topics and clarifying misconceptions and confusions from school learning.
Typical length of lesson is an hour, but this is flexible.
Experience tutoring GCSE Maths and A Level Biology - can teach any age up to 18, including both A Level and GCSE for all exam boards.
Qualifications:
A* in A Level Biology, Maths, Further Maths, Spanish
9s (A** equivalent) in GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics (also English Literature, Spanish, History, RE)
8s (A* equivalent) in GCSE German and English Language
Undergraduate in Natural Sciences at University of Cambridge
