About Parul
I am a Natural Sciences student at the University of Cambridge, having just completed my first year of undergraduate study in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Materials Science. Having achieved A* grades in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry and EPQ at A-level, and ten grade 9s at GCSE, I have a clear understanding of what steps are necessary to maximise your potential. As a scientist, having a robust grasp of basic concepts is needed in order to progress onto higher levels of study. I aim to provide such a foundation for my students. Additionally, it is necessary to understand the structure of the examinations and to be aware of what mark schemes are looking for, and so in sessions we will go over exam techniques and skills which are vital to achieving the top grades.

Lessons will be 1 hour long and aim to target the specific areas of concern for each student. I aim to adopt learning techniques which differ from those in school, focusing on learning using real-world examples and applications. Implementing knowledge in practice questions will also be a major focus of the sessions as this is one of the most effective ways of developing the problem-solving skills necessary to excel in exams and further education.
