About Kriya
Hi! I’m Kriya, a recent graduate from Carmel College High School and current first-year university student pursuing a Nursing degree.
I earned a NZQA Scholarship for English in 2025 alongside Excellence endorsed in NCEA English Levels 2&3. Received awards for distinction in English in 2022, 2024 & 2025 alongside academic excellence in academic English.
I love helping students reach their potential.
I’m committed to making learning enjoyable from acing NCEA internals, prepping for externals, or building foundational confidence, I tailor my lessons to each student's needs.

My lessons are designed to each student’s goals, whether that's improving internal grades, preparing for externals, or aiming for NCEA Scholarship success. I aim to build a strong foundation through clear explanations, practical examples, and active student engagement.
You can expect a flexible but structured approach where questions are encouraged and confidence is instilled. I tailor my teaching style based on how you learn best — whether that’s through visual aids, step-by-step breakdowns, or working through past papers together.
A typical session is 1 to 2 hours long and can be conducted online or in-person (Auckland). I provide regular feedback and progress check-ins to make sure you're on track and motivated.
