About Temepara
I have always been passionate about helping others succeed. From a young age I have loved teaching people new skills-In fact, I taught my younger siblings and cousins many of their basic skills they know now. This passion for teaching others has only continued to grow over their years. I have now taught multiple groups of people to become Surf Lifeguards, I tutor my peers at school, and I am a swim instructor.
I like to be a very patient tutor/teacher. I know from experience that it is hard to learn if your teacher is impatient, or judgemental in any way. This is why when I am teaching, I am very patient with the learner. I also adjust my teaching methods if I need to. I never ever rush my students or put pressure on them to learn faster. I know from experience that this does no good, and can often set the student back.
NCEA History can be tricky. I am excited to help more students succeed in this subject.

I studied Level 1 history in year 10, and level 2 history in year 11 and level 3 history in year 12. This meant I studied it a year early, which meant that when my friends took the subject the following year, I was able to tutor them. This allowed me to gain experience in tutoring people for this subject. I also have experience in teaching as I am a swim instructor, so I am confident in teaching multiple different learning styles and adjusting my teaching methods to suiting the learner.
Teaching others has always been a passion of mine. I have always loved helping and seeing people overcome challenges. It brings me a lot of joy to help people succeed.
My lessons are for anyone studying NCEA history Level 1, 2 and 3.
Length of lessons: 1 hour-but can change to suit student.
