About Dora
Hi! I am Dora, a recent graduate from the University of Glasgow having completed a BSc Psychology degree. I now live in London and work in the NHS as a low-intensity CBT therapist. During my academic life, I have understood that Psychology linked to everything around us: sleep, social life, professional success, physical health, and more. It is also affected by a variety of factors in our biology and environment. For this reason, it is crucial to understand the world around us from all aspects, honing in on the specific educational requirements. I am very excited to support students who are just starting or continuing their academic journey in Psychology or Biology by spreading my passion for the subjects. I currently work as a therapist, which has allowed me to put all my theoretical knowledge into practice. My goal is to maximise the benefits of our sessions, ensuring students not only understand their subjects but also gain confidence in them. Tutoring offers a unique opportunity for customisation, and I pride myself on my adaptive teaching approach and openness to feedback. Drawing from my own experiences as a recent university graduate, I understand the invaluable role that teaching and revision materials play in academic success and self-confidence during exams.
