About Janel
I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Administrative Management and a minor in Information Systems Management. I also have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education and Training. I have worked in the private sector for 9 years with eight years being in the accounts Dept. I have also done teaching for a few months in the Business/IT area at the high school level. I am currently an accountant in a medical organization where I handle all aspects of the accounting for the company. I would like to widen my career and develop myself by increasing my experience in the teaching world.

My teaching methods include involving my students in every aspect of the lesson. I do not dictate to students to get them bored.. Lectures are very boring and students do not need someone to read the lesson to them like a story. I incorporate my students in my lesson by demonstration and incorporating a lot of visual aids as children love visual presentations and videos to enhance learning. I also like my students interactive, so to incorporate them in the lesson it's best to ask questions and let them help in the teaching process and become involved. This way they will pay close attention to the lesson to avoid being selected randomly and not prepared to answer a question. It is also good to use audio instruments for those students who are auditory learners and for my kinesthetic students I incorporate a lot of activities to get them working their fingers and bodies.
