About Daniel
I believe in an approach that is interactive, dynamic, and tailored to each student's needs and interests. I like to take an approach of humanism and gamification, and when gamification isn't possible, I like to use visuals, art and PowerPoints to support my teaching content. I believe learning should be individualized and hands-on. My lessons are best suited for K-12 students, undergraduates, or anyone seeking general knowledge. I have an undergraduate degree and am not qualified to teach at a graduate-level.

I have been teaching or tutoring in some form or another for the majority of the last decade. Right now, my tutoring and teaching practices have been mostly in the ESL and EFL fields, but I also have experience as a chemistry peer tutor for other undergraduate students at Sacramento City College, a teacher's assistant and tutor for my undergraduate Perception class at Portland State University, a behavior therapist for kids with autism in which I helped them with their homework when needed, and experience as an educational neuroscience outreach volunteer for NW NOGGIN in Portland. I love to connect with others and share the knowledge I've gained along the way. I would love to help you succeed with whatever concepts you're struggling with or want to learn more about!
