About Fabio
Hello! My name is Fabio. I recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first in my integrated masters Neuroscience program. Combining my specialist knowledge acquired throughout my academic journey, along with mentoring, tutoring and teaching skills I have learnt through previous jobs my aim is to allow each student to reach their maximal ability.
I have plentiful experience in breaking down complex and difficult scientific concepts in to a manageable and easy-to-understand way. I have published academic papers and taught 4-11 year old's at a scientific fair, so my range of teaching is vast.
I have experience in teaching high school students and also working pastorally with 16-17 year old's. I have experience teaching children from all different types of backgrounds and some experience in teaching children with learning disabilities. My teaching is not limited to curriculum content and I often use my experience as a tutor to guide young people through their next stages, whether that be in education or elsewhere.
I am an approachable and friendly person who knows the stress that exams and the education can have on you so I always attempt to make the session enjoyable for the student and myself!

NCS Team mentor: Managed a group of 12 young people, aged 16-17, in a residential and non-residential setting as they completed various challenges and tasks as a team, culminating in a social action project for a local charity.
