About Akshaya
I am a neuroscience student currently in University trying to get a Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience. I have a few years of tutoring experience teaching younger kids, mostly family friends, anything related to math and science. I love teaching and explaining concepts to make them easy to absorb and since I'm taking a lot of complex biology and neuroscience subjects for my degree, I think it will be incredibly helpful.

I like to teach elementary/middle school science as well as students in high school wanting to take the pre-health route. I like to make my lessons relatable and easy to understand since much of these subjects require a deep understanding in order to be remembered. I take a kind of hands off approach to try and lead students to figure out the answer by problem solving in their heads and will chime in for hints, as this is what is required on test days.
