About Chelsea
In school, I was never the top of the class, nor did I even love school that much. However, when I graduated high school, I knew I wanted to make a difference somehow. I also knew I loved working with kids, and I was good at it. So, I went to University to pursue a Bachelor of Education. This degree was a 4-year degree that took me 6 years to finish. I worked hard for my degree and was never someone who breezed through University. This attitude goes into my teaching philosophy. You do not have to be at the top of the class or naturally intelligent to achieve your goal. You just have to want it and work for it. The students who stand out to me are the ones who do not have to get the best grades; however, they are the ones who are showing that they are trying the hardest.

My teaching methods are always based on ensuring students understand the task, whether this involves trying new and different ways to approach the lesson, such as differentiation for students, getting to know how they learn, and adjusting my methods accordingly.
My lesson plan is based on being concise and unhurried, with a focus on absorption and remembrance rather than rushing.
My experience in delivering lessons is usually for young students; however, I embrace teaching students who are at a high school level as well.
