About Reen
I have a passion to teach, in particular English and Literature, and have been tutoring since my
school days. I have a law degree from the University of Exeter.
Experience
Over my 16 year career, I have taught over 400 students thus far. Students range from primary school students, IB students and corporate learners. This extensive exposure enables me to assess and work with students of any academic level and background, regardless of starting point and/or objective.
Current work
Apart from my tutoring work- I am also currently an English and literature specialist for an international German school, a top IB educational consultancy in Asia and a Business English instructor for the HR department of a few multinational companies.

Tutoring style
I am a methodical yet personable tutor, who is kind, patient and inspiring. I provide a structured yet adaptive approach to tutoring, which aims to build the students confidence and develop key skills needed to reach learning objectives. A part of my goal focused approach is to identify the specific challenges faced by a student and then form a plan of action to tackle them.
Results
For the academic year of 2021 and 2022:
97% of my IB students achieved a 6 and above
100 % of my GCSE students achieved a 9
All of my students improved a minimum of 3 grades, no matter the course
