About Elizabeth

Hi! I’m Elizabeth, a 2025 graduate of North Sydney Girls High School. I graduated as Dux of the School, with an ATAR of 99.95. In 2024, I was also awarded Dux of Year 11 and achieved a State Rank of 8th in NSW for Legal Studies as an accelerated subject.

My dedication to teaching comes from my own journey as a student. I experienced firsthand the frustration of feeling stuck, the pressure of high expectations, the struggles of balancing schoolwork with hobbies, and the uncertainty of not knowing whether the way I was studying was actually working. Learning how to learn was not immediate - it took time, experimentation, and many setbacks before I developed systems that truly supported my understanding and confidence.

Through this process, I came to realize how transformative the right guidance can be. Once I understood how to approach my subjects - how to break down complex ideas, practice effectively, and adapt under exam conditions - learning became far more manageable and even enjoyable. This shift changed not only my results, but also my mindset as a student.

I found deep fulfillment in helping my students recognize their own potential, especially when they begin to see that improvement is not about intelligence or talent, but about strategy, consistency, and support.

I am committed to creating a supportive, structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and challenging themselves. My goal is not just to help students perform well in exams, but to help them develop skills and confidence that stay with them long after the HSC.
