About Liam
I’m a Northern Irish undergraduate university student with a past experience tutoring students alongside my own a level studies and beyond. This has always enabled me to keep things colloquial and fun whilst teaching and I’m more than happy to have a chat before and after lessons leaving the classroom to the classroom and keeping your eyes open to everything outside of the learning space.

First and foremost, my style of teaching involves building a strong rapport with my students to better understand your child’s individual needs. I understand that children may be misunderstood in the classroom environment and therefore private tutoring can establish not only increased knowledge about a subject but also self confidence within a subject field leading to a self ambition to succeed.
My lessons typically involve a short period of time to recap on previous lessons or material covered in school classes to ensure all methods are not only known but understood and applied in the real world. Furthermore and dependent on your child’s individual needs, homework may be set where I feel your child is ready, these exercises will not be given without previous understanding standing as this has been proven one of the major issues for SEN children in schools leading to decreased motivation! My approach is to build your child’s confidence in subject material through self study before the next lesson or after a lesson has been taught.
My lessons catering for non-SEN children are often favoured by the majority as the focus on concentration techniques, verbal-rapport and socialising throughout a lesson appeal as a more natural and engaging way to learn.
