About Nrityanayika
Guru Mayuri mam is learning and performing kathak for almost 18 years. She is groomed and trained in both Banaras and Lucknow gharana. In year 2014 she won India's Got Talent season 5 along with her guru. She has performed internationally for many prestigious stage shows such as Mughal-e-Azam and Make in India. She is awarded with Jheelnagari Yuva Music Festival Award and won many dance competitions on national level. Mayuri mam has done her BA in kathak from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune Maharashtra and is completing her MA in kathak.

NrityaNayikadance school offers certification in kathak with training starting from beginners level (prarambik) to advanced level (visharad/alankar). Guru Mayuri mam is trained in Lucknow and Banaras gharana of kathak art form with training of 18 years and teaching experience of 7 years. We conduct online classes & exam for our students all over the world with existing students in London, Australia, and Dubai. Mayuri mam is a strong believer that shastriya nritya (Indian classical dance) is a spiritual practice and her teaching includes meditative technique to calm body, mind, and soul.

Mayuri Yadav ma'am is not just our teacher. She is a our Guru. A guru not only imparts knowledge but also the wisdom to apply that knowledge. NrityaNayika dance school is the best Katthak dance school. The classes are organized and their focus is on well rounded katthak education. There are many events, informative talks that are organized regularly on varied topics covering katthak dance that are important for understanding dance in a comprehensive way. Both Mayuri Ma'am are very talented with very good value system, they are professional and perfectionist as well. They focus on each and every student personally and that's the best part as per me.
