About Kristian
I was successful in attaining the grades I required to be competitive in receiving my offer for a Degree Apprenticeship in Nuclear Engineering and Science and have achieved 80% or above in all my modules including Advanced Mathematics, Thermodynamics and Nuclear Science. I have a background in teaching through my time in cadets teaching young people between the age of 13 and 18 complex topics of interest like aerodynamics and rocket propulsion. I have gained a formal qualification in teaching through the cadets and have been tasked with mentoring an apprentice in the cohort below me at work. I also have a passion for everything STEM so I hope I can pass this on to anyone I get to tutor!

At the start of our tutoring, we will have a chat about where you feel you are within your specification and get an idea of what we will focus on in our time. Then, I’ll give you a small number of questions on each of the topics you find challenging and go step by step through them once you’ve had a go. Together, we will outline a plan on what we will cover based on the amount of lessons you plan to have. This will be structured in a short explanation, a question or two to complete with me and then another couple to do yourself… Once we’ve gone through our plan, I’ll set a small informal assessment and, once completed, we will reflect on the plan and revisit anything that posed a challenge. I’m confident this will have you exam ready!

Kristian is really nice and supportive. His strong background in engineering supports his academic knowledge and gives him the ability to really understand subjects to a great depth consequently allowing him to really be able to simplify topics and clarify any queries and misconceptions.
