About Landon
I’m a Physics tutor with over 5 years of experience and a BSc in Physics and Computer Science. My teaching focuses on making complex topics like quantum mechanics clear, engaging, and even fun. I work with advanced high school and university students, helping them grasp the core ideas behind the math and mystery. Wave-particle duality, Schrödinger’s equation, and quantum phenomena are central to my lessons. I use thought experiments, visual explanations, and everyday analogies to bring abstract concepts into focus. My teaching approach in Physics is gentle, reflective, and rooted in real scientific inquiry. I focus on helping students explore ideas through hands-on thinking and guided experimentation. Instead of rushing through theory, I encourage asking questions, testing ideas, and learning from each step. This creates space for deeper understanding and confidence in doing science.
Along with core Physics concepts, I teach important lab-related skills like experimental design, data analysis, error propagation, and scientific reporting. These topics help students think like scientists and approach problems with clarity and structure. I guide learners in understanding not just the “how” but also the “why” behind each step in an investigation.
Many of my students are natural tinkerers, DIY scientists, and curiosity-driven learners. I support them in building their own way of doing science—one that fits their style and strengths. Visual thinking, practical methods, and reflective learning are all part of the process. I help learners connect theory to everyday phenomena and grow in both skill and confidence.
We often discover new ways to experiment, troubleshoot, and ask better questions. My goal is to build strong scientific habits and a lasting sense of curiosity. With the right tools and mindset, students can explore and understand the physical world in exciting new ways.
