Objective: Improve reading comprehension and vocabulary skills.
Materials Needed: Age-appropriate books, vocabulary flashcards, and worksheets.
Activities: Begin with a read-aloud session of a selected book, followed by a discussion on the main ideas and themes. Introduce five new vocabulary words from the text using flashcards, then have students use each word in a sentence to reinforce understanding.
Assessment: End with a short quiz on the vocabulary words and a brief written summary of the story to assess comprehension.
