Hi! I'm Lisa! Since earning my MFA from Yale, I have been working professionally in theatre, film, and television for over 15 years both as an actor and as a teaching artist. I'm based in NYC but have worked all over the country! I truly love being an actor and can't wait to work with you and pass on all the tools I've acquired over the years to help you be the best actor you can be.

Excavate and Navigate your monologue, side, or song with me!
I like to cater any and all lessons to the needs of my students. In my experience, the best way to train an actor OR a singer is TO DO IT! In short, no matter the material, here are the basic steps:
- Before class, choose and prepare your material
- Ensure literal understanding of text
- Establish given circumstances
- Establish obstacles
- Decide what your character needs
- Dive in and rehearse, get feedback, and repeat!
No matter your age or level, training with me will instill you with the confidence you need to succeed and feel good about your work. And given my years of training, I have all the tools to share with you to make you a better performer.
