About Laura
I worked in book publishing for many years, so have an eye when I write and read on structure, organization, and on the usage of language in expressing ideas and creativity. I wrote a memoir, which was published by a major publisher in the UK and US, and continue to write a blog so that my writing is continually being improved. I have worked with students on college essays, as well as creative writing pieces - I do not write the pieces for them, but instead work with them to draw out and elaborate on their own ideas and words. I am passionate about the written word and love to help students find their writing voices.
