About Emily
I am an oboist/cor anglais player (plus a little clarinet and saxophone) based in Manchester. I mostly have taught adult students at vartious standards, I love the chance to help people learn and continue fostering their love of music, and am an enthusiastic tutor!

Whether you are working toward an exam or just want to learn for enjoyment, I am happy to tailor lessons to you!
I think having a goal to work toward is really important in my own playing, so usually will structure lessons around anything you want to work on, whether that’s a study, a new piece, some excerpts, or your favourite pop song. Anything goes as long as we are learning and enjoying playing!
A bit about me: I studied for my undergraduate degree at Oxford University during which I had lessons at the Royal Academy of Music in London. I then spent two years studying for my masters degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama aided by scholarships before moving up to Glasgow for a year for some orchestral work.
