About Elodie
I feel incredibly lucky to have been in a supportive grammar school environment that constantly pushed me past my limits. My History teachers taught with a passion for the subject that inspired me to study it at university and motivated me to explore History on a deeper level, including being interviewed by Cambridge. Unfortunately, many students do not have the privilege of sharing these experiences. Therefore, I'm not only tutoring to help others achieve in history, but also to inspire them to enjoy it as much as I do.

As a student who has recently graduated the secondary school system and is on track to achieve AAA including History, I'd like to take a modern and relatable approach by using my personal experiences to help others that are still currently undergoing their GCSEs and A-levels.
Consequently, my lessons are aimed at those studying history at GCSE and A-level in the UK.
The exam boards I'm most familiar with are AQA and EDEXCEL as I studied the Tudors, Nazi Germany, and civil rights for A-level along with the Vietnam war, crime and punishment, the cold war and Richard and John for GCSE
I aim to provide a relatable and comfortable environment for my students where my lessons, lasting an hour, will initially focus on content in the first half followed by consolidation through essay structure in the second half. Evidently, as I familiarise myself with the student, lessons and homework will become more tailored to their weaknesses.
