About Chandre
My name is Teacher Chandre, and I’m your English and Afrikaans teacher.
I love teaching because I know how hard learning a language can feel sometimes. I’ve seen students feel shy, scared to make mistakes, or think they’re “not good at languages” — and I don’t believe that’s true at all.
I became a teacher because I love helping students find their voice. When a student finally speaks confidently, understands a sentence, or realizes “Hey, I can do this” — that’s my favorite moment.
In my class:
• You are allowed to make mistakes
• You are encouraged to try
• Your ideas and opinions matter
• You will always be respected and supported
I don’t just teach English and Afrikaans —
I teach you how to believe in yourself while using the language.
If you are willing to try, I will always be willing to help.

My English and Afrikaans lessons are not ordinary language classes.
We don’t just learn words and rules — we learn how to actually use the language in real life.
In my lessons, you will learn:

• How to think in English/Afrikaans, not translate word by word
• How to express your own ideas, opinions, and feelings
• How to speak naturally in tests, exams, conversations, and presentations
• How to improve vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and sentence structure at the same time

• Supportive – mistakes are part of learning, not something to fear
