About Maya
Flexibility is essential in tutoring. I adapt my teaching style and pace according to the student's progress and feedback. If a particular approach doesn’t resonate with the student, I readily modify my methods to find what works best for them.
I encourage critical thinking rather than rote memorization. I teach students how to approach problems logically, break them down, and devise efficient solutions. This approach not only helps in solving GMAT questions but also in developing problem-solving skills applicable beyond the test.

My classes are interactive, encouraging active participation. I foster an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and engaging in discussions. I use real GMAT questions to illustrate concepts, allowing students to get acquainted with the test format and style.
Each student's journey is unique. I personalize my teaching methods, adapting to different learning styles and pacing. Some students might struggle with Quantitative comparisons, while others might find Reading Comprehension challenging. I identify these individual needs and tailor my approach to address specific weaknesses.
Preparation goes beyond content knowledge; it's about mental preparedness too. I coach students in building test-taking confidence and managing test anxiety. I offer strategies to stay focused and calm during the exam, ensuring they perform at their best on test day.
