About Lily
I am a A-Level (equivalent) graduate and achieved A* (equivalent) in both Maths and Further Maths. I am currently completing a gap year before beginning a Bachelor of Science at Melbourne University majoring in computing and software system, before continuing to post graduate studies in software engineering. I have been tutoring students in varying Math levels for just over a year!

My aim as a tutor is to create a deep understanding and confidence in students when answering exam questions and tackling new and unfamiliar problems. I adjust my teaching approach dependant to the student’s needs and learning style while always promoting students to think for themselves. Communication with the student is vital in order to identify weaker areas - these are the areas which we will focus on. There will be emphasis on exam-technique and helping familiarise students with the exam papers they will be sitting. This approach comes from my past experience as a student as I have found it to be most effective. Furthermore I have watched this approach work for many of my students as many demonstrate excellent knowledge but poor exam technique which unfortunately results in less desirable exam results.
