About Alice
I graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Religion. In my time in university and high school, I tutored exclusively in English and have accumulated 5 years of tutoring experience. I also worked at Indigo as a Kids Department manager and hosted over 20 events for children of all ages, including story-time, arts and crafts activities, and more.
My passion in life is writing and I want to become a published author one day. I consider myself a very well-read person, as I have explored texts from various time periods and various parts of the world, my favourite of which being 16th century British literature.
I have always enjoyed teaching others and find my methods to be fun, relaxing and engaging. I provide a safe environment to make mistakes and learn at your own pace.

I help students with assigned course work and assigned texts. I support with every step of essay writing, including formulating solid arguments and writing cohesively and academically. I read the texts with the student and discuss them at great length so that they are comfortable with the overall themes. Students will improve their writing and reading comprehension levels during lessons and gain confidence in writing academically.
I am a very patient person with a passion for teaching. I love creating fun ways to understand material that is otherwise mundane and repetitive, and approaching lessons in a relatable and long-lasting way. I also love interacting with children of all ages.
Students can expect a fun and safe learning environment, where they are free to make mistakes as that is how we better ourselves.
