About Tom
I have great passion in tutoring and have three years of experience in helping high school and college students and adults to prepare for Math ( Geometry and Algebra) and GRE tests. I had effectively helped over fifty struggling students to improve their GRE test scores and fourty-six high school students to improve their geometry performance by 20% and 25% respectively. Besides, I am a pro at preparing application materials like resume and personal statment. I have helped twenty-three students get enrolled in highly ranked schools through my test tutoring and application materials preparing. Plus, I am fluent in Chinese and are willing to share the excitement of studying a new language with my students.

I utilize digital technology to create a fun atmosphere and will design special learning activities to suit every student's learning goals. I aim not only to increase scores, but to cultivate a way of thinking and teach students different methods to approach questions. By doing that, my students can easily apprehend the quickest way to solve problems but only need to do a small amount of exercises. I'll modify my curriculum and teaching agenda to better suit students’ needs and make sure they are making progess each session.
