About Matthew
Music enthusiastic and guitarist for 7-8 years. I have experience in private one on one tutoring to children and teenagers but able to teach to anyone of any age. I have been approached to help improve technique, basic music theory and assistance in learning favoured songs.

My name is Matthew, 21 years old. My teaching method is very friendly. Learning a song / scale / technique they enjoy and setting a focus/goal for each lesson; Whether that be finger position or sound etc. I watch and identify what part is holding back the student the most and overcome obstacles one by one. This gives the student a feeling of achievement and progression. If the student is a beginner and unsure where to start I often start with a song using individual notes; simple songs that are quick and easy to learn and help set a benchmark for their technique and shows me further how to help the student progress properly and move forward at the rate of the student.

Matthew is an awesome teacher. He really loves what he does and is very passionate about music. He is lso super patient, which is important for me as I dont always catch on quickly. The lessons are great fun and I definitely recommend him as a tutor!
