About Victoria
I have over 4 years experience in teaching ESL/ESOL and around 2 years experience in tutoring academic English literature.
I have worked in Paris, and Vietnam as an ESL tutor. Before moving to Southampton to work as an ESOL teacher, and then I worked in London as a tutor at South East London Colleges.
I currently tutor academic English to students with additional learning needs, alongside my ESOL tuition.
My qualifications include a Masters in English and American Literature, a BA in English Literature, and a TESOL certificate

First of all, I want to know your learning goals, any specific subjects which interest you, and your preferred learning style (if you know this). I will also ask if you know your current level or what you have studied previously.
Secondally, I explain my lesson format so that you know what to expect, and are aware of learning objectives.
The lessons will be created with use of a variety of activities and learning techniques to keep sessions engaging and memorable. I like to include creative tasks and incorporate subjects the student finds interesting (whether that be history, art, or The Simpsons!)
