About Andrew
I have been teaching since my PGCE training in 2008. I have a MA degree from Edinburgh University & an MBA from EDHEC. My teaching practice has been with groups, large classes as well as with individuals. I love tutoring and always get a boost when one of my students get the grade they want (or even more).

I am a practitioner of the 'Socratic method' of teaching. By this I mean that I often start by asking the students questions to elicit their existing knowledge of a subject/topic. Working closely with the student, boosting their confidence and enthusiasm, you see fantastic results. The ultimate aim is for the student to be in a position where they teach me something about the subject/topic. This feeds into the idea that by teaching something you learn it.

Hello to all,
After almost 3 years of English lessons with Andrew, I can clearly say that he is for me much more friend than a teacher. I like his openness and flexibility to find the right manner how to approach the right way to teach English. Every time in good mood and every time open to discuss about everthing, but in the same time observing my right pronunciation and development of my vocabulary.
If someone is looking for the perfect teacher, so you just find it. Is Andrew. Thanks. RobertoView more recommendations
