About Andrei

I completed the IB Diploma while studying for two years at an international boarding school in Oxford, an experience that greatly broadened my perspective and inspired my interest in teaching and supporting students through their academic journey. Having completed the IB programme myself, I understand both its challenges and the skills required to succeed in it.

I achieved a strong 6 in IB English B and an overall IELTS score of 7.0, giving me solid experience in both academic and practical English. In addition, I speak three languages — English, Russian and French — and I am currently learning Portuguese, which has strengthened my understanding of language learning from both a student’s and tutor’s perspective.

I am currently studying on a double degree programme at a UK Russell Group university, developing an international and academically driven background. My experience studying and living in the UK for more than three years allows me to confidently support students from diverse backgrounds and different levels of English proficiency.

About the lesson

I offer personalised online English lessons for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, aged 4–17. My classes support IB English B, IELTS preparation, GCSE English, as well as general speaking, reading and writing development.

My teaching approach is flexible and student-focused. I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals, learning style and school requirements. Students are encouraged to tell me what they would like to improve, and I prepare suitable exercises, techniques and practice materials tailored to their needs.

I am also happy to assist with homework, coursework and exam preparation, helping students build confidence and improve their academic performance in English.

Lessons are typically 1 hour long and are designed to be interactive, supportive and engaging. As a UK university student with over 3 years of academic and living experience in the UK, as well as an IB Diploma background from Oxford High School, I understand both international and British education systems and can effectively support students in achieving their goals.
