I have studied French with Lucie for two years. During that time my level has progressed from beginner to advanced intermediate. I feel comfortable speaking with others and I have been told that my pronunciation is good. Lucie gives me interesting assignments and she helps me build vocabulary for everyday conversations.

She spends time on all aspects of French language development, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, pronunciation, and conversation, and she communicates well. She is also responsive to a student’s particular areas of interest. Since I am a native English speaker, I particularly appreciate the fact that Lucie is both a native French speaker (thereby giving me confidence that I am learning correct French pronunciation) and a fluent English speaker, having spent many years living in the United States, thus making her sensitive to the difficulties an American faces in translating idiomatic English expressions into proper French (and vice versa). I am happy to recommend Lucie most highly.

Lucie est vraiment génial comme prof. J'étudie le français avec lui depuis plus ou moins un an et j'apprécie beaucoup son attitude et son style. Elle crée des leçons qui correspondent à mes objectifs et quand j'ai des questions- et j'ai beaucoup de questions- elle est toujours très patiente.
