About Samantha
From studying Geography and Biology at A-Level I was able to broaden my skills and knowledge on the physical world, which allowed me to pursue further education in Environmental Science at university. Working towards my Upper Second-Class honour’s degree at the University of Brighton, was when my passion for Geography flourished allowing me to focus on specific areas of interest such as Sustainability and Geo-politics. After this I completed a Secondary Geography PGCE at the University of Manchester where I gained my Qualified Teacher Status. Currently I am a secondary school Geography teacher based in Brighton.

As a Geography tutor I will work with you to highlight areas of strengths and weaknesses. Lessons will be tailored to improve your subject knowledge as well as geographical skills in order to support the development of your learning. Lessons will be 1 hour to and hour and a half long depending on your requirements, and are suitable for GCSE and A-level pupils.
I am a current Geography school teacher in Brighton with experience teaching AQA and Eduqas. My current teaching style involves creating engaging lessons which relate geographical concepts to the real world allowing for tutees to really deepen and broaden their understanding of the topic.
